Authors should submit their manuscripts electronically through the Journal website submission system to the Editorial Office. Iraqi J. Pharm. Website: https://iphr.mosuljournals.com/
1. Preparation of the manuscript
Manuscripts must be submitted only in English and should be written according to sound grammar and proper terminology. Manuscripts should be typed in Times New Roman 12 pt. font and in MS Word format in one column using A4 paper size. No line number should be applied to the manuscript. Manuscript submission must be applied for once in order to obtain only one submission ID number. More than one submission of a single manuscript can lose the chance of manuscript consideration. The manuscript must be accompanied by a title page file, which can be downloaded from here.
1.1 English language writing
All publications in the Iraqi J. Pharm. are in the English language. Authors whose first language is not English should make sure their manuscript is written in idiomatic English before submission. Please write your text in good English (American or British usage is accepted, but not a mixture of these). No language and copyediting services are provided by the Iraqi J. Pharm.; hence, authors who feel their manuscript may require editing to eliminate possible grammatical or spelling errors are encouraged to obtain such services prior to submission.
1.2 New submission
Submission to the Iraqi J. Pharm. journal proceeds totally online, and authors will be guided step-by-step through the creation and uploading of the manuscript files. As part of the manuscript, authors may choose to submit the manuscript as a single file to be used in the refereeing process. This can be a Word document (*.docx), that can be used by referees to evaluate the manuscript. All figures and tables are encouraged to be embedded and included in the main manuscript file. It is important that if the manuscript is returned to the author(s) for resubmitting twice, it will be rejected on the third resubmission.
1.5 Revised submission
Regardless of the file format of the original submission, at revision, the authors are instructed to submit their manuscript in a Word document (docx). Keep the layout of the text as simple as possible. To avoid unnecessary errors, the authors are strongly advised to use spell- and grammar-checking for the submitted manuscript. Based on the reviewers' comments, the changes must be highlighted in yellow.
2. Manuscript structure
The manuscript must be structured as follows: Title; Abstract; Keywords; Article Highlights (for review articles only); Introduction; Materials and Methods; Results and Discussion; Conclusion; Acknowledgement (optional); and References.
